BuddyPress sites are long-lived, and that is the problem: thousands of members, groups nobody has touched in years, profile fields that drifted, an activity stream that needs seeding on the new group and moderating on the old ones. How it works with BuddyPress

There is no new dashboard to learn. You describe an outcome, NibWP plans it, and you approve before anything is written.

  1. Connect — install NibWP, connect Claude, Cursor, ChatGPT or any MCP client. BuddyPress is detected automatically and its tools appear in the client.
  2. Describe — describe the groups, members, profile fields or activity you want handled. NibWP reads what exists first — members, groups, fields — and shows the plan.
  3. Approve — NibWP shows the plan: which records it will create or change, and what will stay untouched. Nothing happens until you say yes.
  4. Done — it writes real BuddyPress data through the plugin's own APIs and reports back in plain English, with every change in the audit log.

Does it need BuddyPress installed?
Yes. Once BuddyPress is active, NibWP detects it and its tools go live in your connected AI client — no configuration needed.
Can it create groups and post activity, not just read?
Yes. Groups, activity items and profile fields are created and updated through BuddyPress’s own functions, so they behave exactly as if done in the front end or admin.
Can it delete members or groups?
Not on an ordinary connection. Deletions are flagged destructive and gated separately; everyday work is list, read, create, update and configure.
Is member data safe?
It never leaves your server — NibWP runs on your site. Access is scoped per connection and every read and write is logged.
Do I need a Pro Skill?
No. The BuddyPress integration works on Pro. Pro Skills are for design-to-build builder output.
