Pulling frames into your library

Grab one frame, a whole file, or an entire team, cached locally as images and tokens.

Pulling caches a design in WordPress so you can work with it without calling Figma again. Nothing is converted at this stage. Pulling is cheap, reversible, and safe to do often.

Pull a single frame

  • 1In Figma, select a frame or section.
  • 2Copy its link: right-click, Copy link to selection, or press Ctrl/Cmd-L.
  • 3Paste it into the Pull tab and choose Pull into library.

Pull in bulk

Paste a link and use one of the bulk actions instead.

  • 1A file link pulls every top-level frame in that file.
  • 2A team or project link walks every file inside it.
  • 3Re-sync library refreshes everything you have already pulled, picking up design changes.

Bulk pulls run one frame at a time, so a large file cannot time out. Progress shows the current frame and you can stop between frames.

Working with pulled frames

Every frame gets a handle: a short name like @figma/hero-section. That handle is how you refer to it when talking to the AI agent. Click it in the Library to copy. You can rename a frame at any time and the handle updates with it.

When a design changes

Pull it again, or use Re-sync library. The entry updates in place: same handle, refreshed image and tokens.
